Location: 3131 Route 347

On Saturday November 9th, 2024 at approximately 01:14 the Setauket Fire Department was activated for a brush fire at 3131 Route 347, in Setauket. Multiple callers were reporting the fire. Arriving units were met with a large area of brush burning. Units went to work and quickly knocked down the fire. The alarm was placed under control at 01:50. Members were then dismissed and went back into service. The Suffolk County Police Arson Squad was investigating the fire. Setauket Fire Department units responded to a previous brush fire at the same location just hours before.
